How To Use a Tool

Before you see this clip, know that to cut $100 million from President Obama's proposed budget is a whopping 0.003% of the budget. He wants to search and go deep to find $100 million, while budgeting $900 million for Amtrack. (by the way, Amtrack has been losing huge amounts of money, it is estimated that a one way ticket on Amtrack costs the tax payers about $97). Now watch the clip and tell me what you think of Gibbs' attempt to make you think the President is trying to cut the budget, or just trying to make ignorant Americans think he's trying.

All I have to say, is Robert Gibbs has further shown what a giant tool he is. This guy defines the "progressive" movement. He is snide, belittling, and with no other way to say it, he's a jerk. If you question him, he will smirk at you then say "Well, lets break this down...so your little pea sized brain might understand what my giant brain easily comprehends". Then he goes in a little say nothing trance to avoid any answer. I know that all press secretaries are paid to do this little song and dance show, but this guy would make a used car salesman cringe at the sleaziness.

Interesting Read, If You Care About Science

Just thought I'd shed some light on the ever restricting idea of what "science" is. Here we have a Right Winged, Karl Rove Appointed, Christian, Slave Owner, Indian Killing, Rascist, Rush Limbaugh Loving, EEVVIL...Well, the list could go on. I might call this person a "scientist" but how could a scientist find any contrary evidence to what Al Gore has already decided is fact. Oh, that's right, science is about finding facts and not promoting ideology, well, it use to be, before it was concidered any theory that goes contrary to Christian beliefs. (Of course this is where I point out that every scientific discovery only points to the truth of Christian beliefs, some of which merely as possible ways God has used His power) (there was that movie by Ben Stein where "scientists" said they believe Aliens started life on Earth or that we are "Children of the Bubble" (ask me if you want to know), but you would be silly to think there is a God.)

Anyway, here is an article that will help restore the idea of "science" as fact finding studies. But if you believe that Al Gore has all the answers, please just call this guy a bunch of names and move on with your little universe and I'll even put a picture of a cuddly polar bear on here to make you feel better.

Don't Insult Your Boss

From the New York Post:

THE top suits and some of the on-air talent at CNBC were recently ordered to a top-secret meeting with General Electric CEO Jeffrey Immelt and NBC Universal President Jeff Zucker to discuss whether they've turned into the President Obama-bashing network, Page Six has learned.
"It was an intensive, three-hour dinner at 30 Rock which Zucker himself was behind," a source familiar with the powwow told us. "There was a long discussion about whether CNBC has become too conservative and is beating up on Obama too much. There's great concern that CNBC is now the anti-Obama network. The whole meeting was really kind of creepy."

Now why would General Electric be afraid of too much Obama Bashing by their journalists? You know the journalists that are suppose to report and keep in check the abuses of the government.
Hmmm....Billions of tax payer's dollars being wasted away on bailouts and "clean energy". Is GE afraid to make their boss mad?!?

Two In One Day...Yikes

Just thought I'd bring up the newest tactics of our most beloved former Arizona Governor Janet Nepoliwhatever. The Department of Homeland Security has decided that it has to stop elderly women at airport security checks to make sure that there is no profiling of Muslims. But somehow finds it perfectly ok to tell law enforcement to profile white Christians based on BUMPER STICKERS.

This is a story from WND about the latest report from Homeland Security warning law enforcement about the increasing threat of White, Christian, Radical Right Wingers.

The report warned law enforcement agencies to watch for suspicious individuals who may have bumper stickers for third-party political candidates such as Ron Paul, Bob Barr and Chuck Baldwin.

It further warned law enforcement to watch out for individuals with "radical" ideologies based on Christian views, such as opposing illegal immigration, abortion and federal taxes.

Good luck to anyone who believes in God, Freedom, the Constitution, 2nd Ammendment, 10th Ammendment, what is illegal is illegal and the protection of the family and innocent life. These are now classified as RADICAL ideas by our government and your law enforcement has been warned to watch you as a "suspicious individual".

Oh, and it told law enforcement to watch out for veterans, because those people are just plain crazy.

There Really Is Hope For America

I saw this reported on the Drudge Report this morning and felt a renewed hope that there are people in this country that have actually read the Constitution. Could you imagine if the man that SWORE to protect the Constitution would start following it instead of trying to rewrite it.

If you haven't read the 10th Amendment, go read it, then you will understand that our Federal Government can in NO WAY claim that they are following the Constitution (not to mention forcing banks to take money and not allowing them to pay it back).

WAKE UP CALL: TEXAS GOV. BACK RESOLUTION AFFIRMING SOVEREIGNTY Tue Apr 14 2009 08:44:54 ET AUSTIN –

Gov. Rick Perry joined state Rep. Brandon Creighton and sponsors of House Concurrent Resolution (HCR) 50 in support of states’ rights under the 10th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. “I believe that our federal government has become oppressive in its size, its intrusion into the lives of our citizens, and its interference with the affairs of our state,” Gov. Perry said. “That is why I am here today to express my unwavering support for efforts all across our country to reaffirm the states’ rights affirmed by the Tenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. I believe that returning to the letter and spirit of the U.S. Constitution and its essential 10th Amendment will free our state from undue regulations, and ultimately strengthen our Union.” Perry continued: "Millions of Texans are tired of Washington, DC trying to come down here to tell us how to run Texas."

A number of recent federal proposals are not within the scope of the federal government’s constitutionally designated powers and impede the states’ right to govern themselves. HCR 50 affirms that Texas claims sovereignty under the 10th Amendment over all powers not otherwise granted to the federal government. It also designates that all compulsory federal legislation that requires states to comply under threat of civil or criminal penalties, or that requires states to pass legislation or lose federal funding, be prohibited or repealed.
